"Declassified Daytime Screening"

Declassified Days will feature new video work selected by New Museum curators. This program will run continually during normal museum hours from April 2-6, 2008 in the New Museum theater. Declassified Days are free with Museum admission A.L. Steiner with Chicks on Speed, Is Bigger Better, 2005 (5 min) Chicks on Speed is an electropop group which started in Munich in 1997, after its members had met through the Academy of Fine Arts there. Haegue Yang, Restrained Courage, 2004 (18 min) Jan Toomik, Untitled, 2002 (2 min) Sean Snyder, Schema (Television), 2007 (10 min) Schema (Television) analyzes the ways in which we consume the torrent of image production.
